Creative Painting Inspired by Jewellery Design
Transforming Spaces With Colour
In addition to my work with jewellery and leather, I bring colour to life on a much larger scale through mural painting—both interior and exterior. My mural style reflects the same boldness and joy found in my jewellery designs, with vibrant colour palettes, geometric shapes, and a distinctive blend of clean lines and freehand curves that add a softer, organic touch.
Colour is at the heart of everything I do. Whether I’m working on a delicate pair of earrings or transforming an entire wall, I use colour as a powerful tool to shape mood and atmosphere. My murals typically feature between two and ten colours, carefully chosen to suit the space and its purpose. I often draw inspiration from my jewellery collections, as well as from interior design, fashion, and textiles, to create visually striking pieces.

A Creative and Collaborative Process
Every painting project begins with a chat about the brief, then a visit to the site, where I measure and photograph the space before developing a bespoke design. Many of my projects span multiple surfaces—wrapping around corners, alcoves or on to the ceiling—which means I often adapt the design as I paint, ensuring a piece that is sympathetic to the space.
A standout example of this is my work at Union St, a vibrant co-working and community space in Sheffield. Housed in an older building which has been brought back to life, the space presented unique challenges, including redundant telephone wires, ethernet sockets, and a variety of fixtures and fittings. To maintain clean lines, I masked off the busier sections, creating a framed effect that kept the artwork tidy and intentional.
Murals can be a cost-effective and creative way to transform any space—whether you’re looking to revitalise a tired office space, energise a community hub, or add personality to a residential interior or garden. Through thoughtful colour choices and custom geometric designs, my murals are tailored to complement the unique character and purpose of each space.

Art Commission FAQS
Frequently asked questions about mural and art commissions
Can I choose the Colours Myself?
Chatting about colour is one of my favourite things and I love it when clients have ideas of their own. So if you have a clear vision about your colour palette I am very happy to follow it because at the end of the day it’s your space! I will definitely offer guidance and some alternative ideas if I think a particular colour or tone would work better.
How long does a mural take to complete?
Timelines depend on the scale and level of detail involved. A small indoor mural may take 1–2 days, while larger projects can take a week or more. I’ll give you a clear timescale during the design process, and work efficiently to minimise disruption.
What Type of paint do you use?
I use good quality emulsion with a primer for interior projects and then masonry paint for exterior. Both types have very low VOCs. For outdoor projects I finish each piece with a coat of clear exterior varnish to protect your artwork from the elements.
Which locations to you work in?
I’m based in Sheffield and will happily travel to a project anywhere in the city as part of the quote. If you are based further afield then travel costs and potentially accommodation costs would be additional.
What’s the largest space you can paint?
I’m still working out the answer to that question! But I generally work either within residential settings or small to medium commercial spaces. Basically as long as I can reach from a ladder then it’s all good.
Can you paint on Any surface?
I can work on a wide range of surfaces including plaster, brick, concrete, and wood. As long as the surface is clean, dry, and stable, we can make it work. I’ll assess the space during the site visit and advise on any necessary preparation.
